New maps and counters for
Decision Games'

I've always liked the subject and scope of this game, but it's map has no redeming qualities at all. So when I went about digitizing it for Zun Tzu, I had to make a new map.

My map is based on the oldest topo maps I could find, with references to period maps to get the details right, and where they belong. The rail-line up Pleasant Valley, for instance, is gone because it didn't exist until the 1870's. I could find no evidence of the bridge over the Shenandoah at Harpers Ferry being up at this time but other fords and the dam that the old map left out are there now. I left a ford at Berlin though there wasn't one, the bridge was destroyed, and the pontoon bridges weren't up during the campaign.

My map is the same size as the old one, and covers the same area, but is more detailed and three-dimensional. The counters retain the data of the originals in my own style. A new map with contours required some minor alteration to the Terrain Effects and Movement Rules - explained on the TEC - otherwise the game's rules are the same.
